Round trip through the Lauterbrunnen Valley
Would you like to discover the surrounding mountains and valleys? Then take a round trip through the Lauterbrunnen Valley. The valley is known for its 72 waterfalls and the striking rock walls that rise 600 meters vertically above the valley floor. The train takes you from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen train station in just 30 minutes. There you change to the gondola, which takes you to Grütschalp. During the ride you have a wonderful view of the well-known Staubbachfall, which cascades over the rocks. Either you hike from Grütschalp to Mürren (approx. 1h 15m) or you take the train. Stroll through the car-free village in Mürren and enjoy the breathtaking view of the surrounding snow-covered mountains. From there, you take the gondola to Stechelberg. From there you can take the post bus to Lauterbrunnen. Be sure to inquire at the train station in Interlaken about a round trip ticket that includes all means of transport.
