Summer paragliding

Safety is our top priority. All our tandem flights follow strict Swiss regulations and are overseen by the Swiss Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association (SHPA) on behalf of the Federal Office for Civil Aviation (FOCA).

Our pilots are highly experienced, fully trained and certified, and we use certified equipment that’s regularly inspected and maintained. So you can simply sit back, enjoy the views, and have an unforgettable flight with peace of mind.

Yes, we have female pilots on our team. However, they are not available every day and we cannot guarantee a female pilot for every flight.

We recommend that all guests have travel insurance that includes coverage for adventure sports. In addition to your own insurance, each pilot has limited liability coverage for accidents and medical treatment in Switzerland.

No, not at all. Carefully follow the instructions of your pilot to ensure a safe and smooth take off and landing.

Rain, wind, and poor visibility can impact our flights, but this is difficult to predict in advance. If we have to cancel a flight due to bad weather we will do our best to rebook you to another date or time that works for you. If this is not possible, we will see that you receive a full refund.

Please know that conditions tend to change very quickly in our area, so official weather decisions are usually made very close to trip time.

Our cancellation policy requires 24 hours notice for changes and cancellations. As long as you make your request at least 1 full day in advance, your rebooking or cancellation is fully refundable. If you arrive late or fail to show up, a refund will not be issued. If we cancel due to weather, we offer a full refund.

We will pick you up at the agreed meeting point. Transportation to take off in Beatenberg is included in the price.

Your pilot will prepare you for takeoff and walk you through the process step by step. With a quick countdown, 1…2…3, and a few fast running steps, you’ll be airborne! After an unforgettable flight with breathtaking views, you’ll enjoy a smooth landing on your feet at our landing area in Interlaken.

From April to October, we’re flying our summer paragliding trips. To make sure both the pilot and passenger take off safely, it’s important to stick to the following weight limits:

For flights at 7:10am, 8:10am, 16:00pm, and 17:00pm the maximum weight is 80kg (180lbs)
For flights at 9:20am, 10:30am, 11:45am, 13:30pm, and 14:45pm the maximum weight is 90kg (200lbs)

From November to March, we’re running our winter paragliding flights. During this time, we often launch in snowy or light wind conditions. To make sure both the pilot and passenger can take off safely, please stick to the following weight limits:

For flights at 8:15am, 13:45pm, 14:45pm, and 16:00pm the maximum weight is 80kg (180lbs)
For flights at 9:30am, 10:45am, and 12:00pm the maximum weight is 90kg (200lbs)

Guests aged 60 and over are welcome to join our tandem paragliding flights, provided they meet the following requirements:

• You are in good overall health and have no heart conditions.
• You are able to run at take-off until the paraglider is airborne.
• You are steady on your feet and able to make a small jump. You should have no injuries or significant problems affecting your hips, legs, knees, ankles or feet.
• You are within our maximum weight limit of 90kg (200 lbs).
• For safety reasons, the flight must be booked between 09:20 and 14:45 in summer. In winter, please choose a flight between 09:30 and 12:00.

The minimum age for our tandem paragliding flights is 5 years old. Children aged 5 and over who weigh less than 30kg (66lbs) can fly only on our morning flights before 11:00am, due to wind conditions.

Small personal cameras can be used during the flight as long as they can be securely attached to the harness. This generally works with GoPro cameras, but not with 360° cameras. You are welcome to bring your camera, and your pilot will let you know whether it can be safely used during the flight.

You can also purchase our photo and video package directly from your pilot for CHF 40.- after the flight. Payment is possible by cash or credit card.

Your pilot will shoot photos and videos in HD quality during your flight. You may purchase the package for CHF 40 after landing. The data will be uploaded directly to your phone or copied to a USB Stick.

Dress according to the weather conditions. Wear sturdy shoes with sturdy soles (hiking shoes or sneakers). Even in summer a sweater or windbreaker can protect you from the wind. You may wear sunglasses during your flight.

Small bags can be taken with you on the flight, as long as they can be safely secured. Backpacks and medium-sized bags can be stored at our desk at the landing area on Höheweg 56.

If you have larger luggage or suitcases, we recommend leaving them at your hotel or using a locker at the train station. By prior arrangement, it may sometimes be possible to store larger luggage at our office. Please contact us in advance to check.

We recommend spectators wait at our landing field. Non-flying passengers are not allowed to go to take off.

Provided that flight conditions are good, we fly all year round. We reserve the right to cancel in the case of bad weather (strong winds, storms, rain, heavy snowfall, low visibility etc.).
