Yes! Flying in winter is safe when you choose a certified and experienced operator. Winter air is often calmer than summer, providing stable conditions for smooth flights. Our pilots monitor weather and wind patterns carefully before each flight.

2. Do I need experience?

No. Tandem paragliding is perfect for beginners. Your trained pilot handles the controls while you enjoy the view. You can just sit back, relax, and take in the alpine scenery.

Dress in warm layers, as temperatures drop with altitude. Gloves, hats, and sturdy shoes are essential. We provide helmets, winter jacket and pants, winter boots to ensure you stay comfortable throughout your flight.

Flights typically last 10-20 minutes, depending on weather conditions. That’s plenty of time to enjoy snowy mountains, sparkling lakes, and unforgettable alpine scenery.

Listen carefully during the briefing: it takes just a few minutes.

Relax and enjoy the moment: your pilot is trained to make it safe and fun.

Your adventure is documented by the pilot: photos and videos are available after landing

6. Why winter paragliding is special

Cold winter air is denser and more stable, which means calmer conditions and smooth, relaxed paragliding flights – perfect for first-time flyers. Combined with clear winter skies, visibility is often exceptional. On good days, you can see far across the Alps, with sharp, clean views that feel truly unforgettable. After fresh snowfall, low-hanging clouds often drift through the valleys, making it feel as though you’re flying through a fairytale.

Winter is also the quiet season in Interlaken. With fewer tourists, take-offs are calmer, there’s no rush, and the experience feels more personal. It’s just you, your pilot, and the mountains – no stress, no crowds, just pure magic.
